ProCredit Bank brings Apple Pay to Kosovo for its customers

Pristina, August 2025 – ProCredit Bank Kosova, on its 25th anniversary of activity in the banking market in Kosovo, introduces Apple Pay to its customers – a safer, more secure and more private way to pay with iPhone and Apple Watch. This new service allows customers to avoid giving their payment card to other people, touching physical buttons or exchanging cash, using the power of iPhone to protect every transaction.
Customers can make contactless payments by holding their iPhone or Apple Watch near a payment terminal. Every Apple Pay transaction is secure because it is verified through Face ID, Touch ID or the device’s passcode, as well as a unique security code that is generated for each payment. Apple Pay is widely accepted in supermarkets, pharmacies, taxis, restaurants, cafes, shops and many other points of sale.
Apple Pay can also be used on iPhone, iPad and Mac for faster, more convenient purchases in apps or on the web using Safari, without having to create an account or repeatedly enter shipping and billing information. Apple Pay makes it easy to pay for food and delivery, online shopping, transportation, parking and other everyday services. Apple Pay can also be used in apps using Apple Watch.
Security and privacy are fundamental to Apple Pay. When customers use their debit or credit cards with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device or on Apple’s servers. Instead, a Unique Device Account Number (Device Account Number), which is encrypted and stored securely in Secure Element – an industry-standard certified chip designed to keep payment data protected on the device.
Apple Pay is easy to activate. On iPhone, customers need to open the Wallet app, select the token + and follow the steps to add ProCredit Bank Kosova debit or credit cards. Once the cards are added to your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac, Apple Pay can be used immediately.
