Online it said the bus was €8.20 for 2 people from Sitges to Barcelona airport, when the bus arrived and we wanted to buy 2 tickets it was €17.60, can anyone maybe explain what these two tickets mean, cant find it anywhere online

Are you sure you are going the full route?
Did you take the Aerobús from plaza Catalunya?
If yes, one way from plz Catalunya to the airport is €7.45. Two tickets would be €14.90.
