My best photo of the SpaceX Starship Flight 6 launch, taken during Expedition 72 to the ISS. Our orbit was very fortunate to have a brief visual overlap with Starbase shortly after launch, allowing me to photograph this remaining exhaust trail and the surrounding region.

In case people missed it, there’s a cool shot from TUBSAT-27, a small Earth observation satellite with a uncooled infrared sensors as part of a technology demonstration – https://i.redd.it/hugw7ajs80lf1.gif

It caught IFT9’s launch and stage separation in the last few frames. According to the mission director they were ~15min too late for IFT10. Things really have to align to get such a shot.

  3. This is considerably better than my best photo of the Starship Flight 6 launch from the ISS. Well done.
