Heavy rainfall and storms are also occurring in North Macedonia, in addition to Albania, which also experienced flooding in many parts throughout the day.
ABCNews has reported that due to a strong storm in North Macedonia, a tourist ferry traveling from St. Naum to Ohrid was forced to cross into Albanian territorial waters.
Border authorities in Pogradec claimed that the ferry had crossed into the Albanian part of Lake Ohrid due to strong storms and waves.
The ferry sailed for a few minutes in Albanian waters, where the storm was not strong, and is expected to return to Macedonian waters.
