After the loss of Leon Avdullah to Kosovo, the Swiss do not seem worried about Albian Hajdari.

The latter has been heavily rumored to be moving to Kosovo, following in the footsteps of Leon Avdullah, who is already a teammate at Hoffenheim.

However, the Swiss Federation does not seem worried.

At least that’s what the director of the Swiss national team, Pierluigi Tami, said.

“I’m not worried. The door is open. He has already played friendly matches with us and was expected to play in competitive matches. He can still move according to the rules, but I’m not worried. Murat Yakin has done a lot and we will start planning for him immediately after this move,” Tami said at a press conference on Monday.

Albian Hajdari has already played once for Switzerland, but in a friendly match.

He played 45 minutes in Switzerland’s 3-1 win over Luxembourg on March 25 of this year.

Hajdari was also invited to three Nations League matches for Switzerland during 2024, but spent all of them on the bench./Express newspaper/
