Welcome to the New Day Cafe! This is an open thread.

Recently I came across images of Poland’s Art Nouveau “Singing Frog House”, and I loved it so much I thought I’d share some images with you.

    Poland, Frog House

Here’s some info from Krakow Travel: krakow.travel/…

“Once upon a time, the Rudawa River flowed down the middle of what is now Retoryka Street, and the sound of croaking frogs could be heard for miles around. The frog on the façade of the Singing Frog House is no ordinary amphibian: it’s known as the Terrible Frog and it’s depicted plays the mandolin. The instrument symbolises the building’s former function as a music school.”

Here’s a video of the pretty city that surrounds Singing Frog House.
