From September 1, a larger basis for salaries in the public and state sector. Here’s how much salary will grow.

As announced, from September 1, 2025. The new, larger basis for calculating salaries in public institutions and state bodies enters into force.

The base has grown for 29,27 € (3%), from the previous € 975.60 on 1004,87 €.

This means that all doctors, teachers, police officers and many others will receive higher salaries from September (which will be paid in October).

Here are an example of several increases:

• Teacher (mentor) – 1.615,55 € (+43,03 €)
• Full professor – 2.725,42 € (+75,36 €)
• Medicine Doctor Specialist – 2.759,46 € (+76,35 €)
• Nurse – 1.350,00 € (+35,30 €)
• Intervention police officer – 1.295,53 € (+33,72 €)
• Police Director General – 3.814,86 € (+107,10 €)
• Driver of a state official – 1.111,69 € (+28,36 €)
• Secretary General of the Ministry – 3.236,09 € (+90,23 €)
