The President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, received in a meeting the former candidate for Mayor of Deçan, Korab Mushkolaj, as well as the new PDK candidate for this municipality, Jetmir Prekalla.
Mayor Krasniqi thanked Mr. Mushkolaj for his willingness and commitment to be a candidate for Mayor of Deçan, a candidacy which, unfortunately, was not certified by the Central Election Commission due to legal restrictions.
Consequently, the Democratic Party of Kosovo has selected the new candidate for Mayor of Deçan, Jetmir Prekalla.
He has completed his Master of Science studies in Agro-Food Engineering and Agro-Food Technology, and is currently an assistant professor at “Haxhi Zeka” University and in the process of completing his doctorate.
Mayor Krasniqi gave his full support to Prekalla, emphasizing that the Democratic Party of Kosovo will stand strongly alongside him and the PDK team in Deçan, with the aim of providing responsible local governance, development and a clear vision for the future of the citizens of this municipality.
