Where’s your favorite spot to grab a drink and watch the game?
The Fenway neighborhood’s Cask ‘n Flagon has just been ranked one of the best local sports bars in the country, according to USA Today.
The Cask ranked number 6 for best local sports bar in the paper’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards — the only New England spot on the list.
“Operating just a few steps away from Fenway Park, Cask ‘n Flagon, also known as the Cask, is the perfect sports bar for a pint before heading over to watch the Sox. Since 1969, this lively venue has drawn guests with its hearty pub fare and fresh craft beer, and for anyone forgoing the game, there are plenty of high-definition TVs found all across the restaurant,” the blurb reads.
The Boston location, which is hard not to notice as you head to Fenway Park, was once a Ford dealership. Now it’s a popular spot where you can settle in among walls lined with photographs celebrating the city’s sports history, and fans decked out in the Red Sox gear enjoying a Sam Adams and a great bite.
It’s not the first time the bar has earned high honors – it’s also been ranked the best baseball bar in the country by ESPN.
