The much debated and blocked ban on using cell phones at school is certainly not new, since it has already existed for more than twenty years, but the ministry has reiterated the need to make it really applicable. This has put back responsibility in the hands of managers and teachers, who must prepare internal and disciplinary rules to enforce the rule. Each school is therefore called to decide how to organize yourself, from the retreat of devices to any sanctions. The measurement does not introduce new laws, but makes an urgent question urgently to face an ambiguity often managed. In this sense, rather than a regulatory change, it is an organizational and management problem that falls on individual school communities.

Sì, è vero, a scuola (dalle elementari [!!] alle superiori) gli alunni, in classe, devo tenere alta l’attenzione per seguire al meglio le lezioni; l’uso dei cellulari crea ovvia distrazione col rischio che questo infici sui solo risultati ma, soprattutto, sulla loro preparazione. Fin qui, ok, tutti d’accordo.
Tuttavia, trovo questo clima di inasprimento e repressione un filo esagerato, soprattutto perché i ragazzi ci mettono poco ad aggirare il divieto: basta portare un “muletto”, lasciare quello negli armadietti, cattedra o quel che è e la “legge” è bella che aggirata. Io ritengo invece che sia più utile trovare un modo per integrare questi sistemi nella classica (stantia) didattica che ancora persiste nell’italico Paese. Non fraintendetemi: il libro, la carta etc. etc. sono di sicuro uno strumento più efficace per l’apprendimento (credo ci siano un buon numero di studi a riguardo) tuttavia, siamo nel 2025 ed è necessario che la scuola, così come il Paese tutto, stiano al passo con qualcosa che galoppa al doppio della velocità.
