LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A protective order has been filed against University of Kentucky running back Jamarion Wilcox.
Jamarion Wilcox, a 4-star running back out of Douglasville, Ga., has signed with UK.(UK Athletics)
According to court records, the order was filed on August 20 by a woman who accused Wilcox of unwanted conduct at an off-campus apartment. A judge granted an emergency protective order later that day.
UK head coach Mark Stoops confirmed Wilcox was suspended for violating a team rule and did not play in Saturday’s season opener against Toledo.
Wilcox was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday for a hearing related to the case.
As of Wednesday, Wilcox remains listed on the UK football roster.
