    1. I always worry when polish leaders fawn over an idiot like trump. It makes them seem like lapdogs.

      Useless bootlicking, nothing else.

Not that the current government does much more than that unfortunately.

    3. Two morons meeting each other. One at least has some accomplishments, the other is just an experiment that surprisingly worked out.

At least Nawrocki didnt have to photoshop himself into the picture with Trump like he previously did 😅

    6. It is good that we have good relations with the US ( although our PM and to a lesser extent Minister of Foreign Affairs apparently aren’t greatly liked by the Trump team ) and it certainly underlines the fact that the current US administration sees Poland as a reliable partner.

Nobody is trying to force us to sign “mineral deals” and likely our President won’t be shoved out of the White House unceremoniously like he was a shoe-shiner or something, which as we know is a thing that happened to a President of a neighbour of ours.

Maybe President Nawrocki brings something tangible back from this meeting, but I am not holding my breath.

I fear that there is way too much optimism towards the Trump Presidency in the Polish conservative circles.

Trump is a businessman, he apparently has no problem trading away Ukrainian lands in exchange for a very flimsy “peace” with Russia.

With such people, regardless of how good your relations are or seem to be there is always a chance they will sell you down the river if they see it as beneficial to themselves.

I hope that the US troops stays in Poland in at least same numer they are today’s.

    8. Something that happens between most countries and the US. Nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever.

    9. I hope Nawrocki behaved like a good little lap dog and didn’t pee on the oval office carpet

    10. When Polish people hoped to have a world class president, we meant for our leaders to improve not for the world to downgrade

    11. As a Polish-American…it benefits Poland to stay on good terms with US. Even if it means sucking up to the moron Trump.

He will be out of office in 3.5 years anyway.Â
