Kosovo captain Amir Rrahmani is on the verge of signing a new contract with Italian champions Napoli.

“Spazionapoli.it” has reported that the Kosovo defender will extend his contract with Napoli until 2029.

The 31-year-old Rrahmani has a contract with Napoli until June 2027. But he will remain part of Napoli even longer.

It is reported that Rrahmani receives an annual salary of 3 million euros at Napoli.

He rejected two offers from English Premier League clubs. He also rejected a huge financial offer from Saudi Arabia.

Rrahmani joined Napoli in 2020. He has won two titles with the Italian team.

Rrahmani is part of Kosovo for the first two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. Kosovo plays against Switzerland on Friday, and on September 8, they host Sweden in Pristina.
