      I can see why he made the claim in the first place, if that wouldn’t be a vote winner I don’t know what would be.

      It’s so telling when Labour decides to attack Zack Polanski on this issue. It’s 12 years ago when he got baited by an undercover Sun journalist, and he immediately apologised the day after. Considering Starmer was on record saying Israel has the right to cut of water and energy from Gaza, I don’t think Labour has any credibility at attacking someone’s past, especially when it’s so innocuous.

      This is at worst “a bit cringe”, I wouldnt even take it on board if I were a green voter. Plus it was 12 fecking years ago.

      Scottish Labour recently had an msp filming women in Holyroods toilet. That’s far worse than “a bit cringe” and FAR more recent. So they should mind their own shit right now.

      It’s important to cover people’s short comings, but it’s pretty easy to just be like “yeh, that was fucking stupid and I shouldn’t have done it and I’m still sorry I did it”.

      If that’s the only dirt they have on him, he’s cleaner than 99% of politicians

      I’m kinda shocked at the amount of people dismissing this as no big deal.

      Sure it probably didn’t outright harm anyone, but does imply he’s a psuedoscience pedalling, grifter con-man. Not to mention exceptionally stupid. Terrible branding for the Greens giving their common criticisms.

      And if you’re rebuttal to this is “No worse than those jokers in Parliament” then don’t bother lmao

      This bit in particular is suspect to me:

      Getting told positive results happened (presumably a lie for ‘journalistic’ purposes) and then taking credit for it down to the number of days. That’s very con-artisty thing to do: latching on to some information your target gave you then regurgitating it back as proof.

      Not exactly a nice trait for a politician to have.
