Retired me at age 37. Thanks Nvidia
Maybe of one those millionaires is reading this post right now. Hello millionaire – what does it feel like?
Maybe because 90% of the world doesn’t give a shit about NBA, so it’s a way smaller industry? Not like nvidia, which has half the companies in the world investing to various extents into AI.
This is a horrible way to present data.
I wonder how many millionaires that Walmart created? Sam Walton was pretty famous for getting individuals to buy stock early during his expansion days. That stock has grown and split so many times, i wonder how many holders ended up millionaires.
This is the most unbeautiful data I’ve ever seen on this sub
Why is it on a weird leather background thing?
Why is there graph paper scrolling by?
The circles mean literally nothing
There’s no way to see how much more the NVidia employees are compared the NBA except by looking at the numbers
“Nearly 5x More”
5x more would be an additional 25,000, so more like “nearly 4x more”
What exactly is the data here? 5,000 x 5 ≈ 24,000?
“Millionaire” doesn’t meant what it used to.
50% of employees having a net worth over $25 million is almost certainly bullshit
I have a bunch of friends who got Jobs at NVIDIA out of college in 2016. They are all retired.
Just in: The world’s most valuable company has created more wealth than a professional basketball league.
