Bylbyl Sokoli was the next guest on the “Arena e Yjeve” podcast, which is a production of Telegrafi and supported by Golden Eagle and Air Munich.

The famous Kosovar coach, among other things, has spoken about the sacrifice of the Albanians of Tetovo, showing how they risked their lives so that Kosovo could play football.

“Every journey has been a hardship in itself. Every journey has been a sacrifice in itself. Every journey has been a plan in itself.”

“What I have to remember were the meetings in Tetovo, many men who saw us as people we would sacrifice, were even able to give their lives for us.”

“I saw that the Macedonian state did not allow us to play in the city stadium, and the citizens and villagers of Tetovo came to the place saying that if they did not allow it, they would break down the doors,” Sokoli continued.

The full episode with Bylbyl Sokoli airs on Saturday at 17:10 on RTV Dukagjini, and is also published on Telegrafi’s official YouTube channel.
