      I think the Welsh flag design is actually really cool but that roundabout attempt is really shit.

      The ones who did the Welsh flag are not the ones at fault here, there was an English flag painted there just before… In Wales.

      Oh so they ARE capable of looking into defacement when it suits! I wonder if they’re as quick with spray paintings of George’s Crosses flanked by “immigrants out” graffiti around it.

      Strange how the police never investigated an English flag being spray painted for n the roundabout in Wales – an obvious provocation, yet immediately there is anti-English comments the police spring into action! Does that not say something?

      I think most English are indifferent to Scottish or Welsh hatred of England and see it as silly rather than offensive.

      I think maybe the focus should be the English folk who painted it first that is an anti welsh act is it not? vandalizing another country with your flag is just as offensive as an anti-English slogan in my opinion.

      This is nothing new! This area of wales is very anti english as is most of the north over here. What do people expect

      … ? Why would someone think painting ENGLISH flag on WELSH roundabout is a good idea ?

      Unless it’s a provocation, and it can very easily be one, someone is just not right in the head.

      It’s Wales ffs. Police should shrug it off and drop the probe. Catch some thieves instead.

      Are they also investigating all the road signs in Llandudno being graffitied Chester sprayed out and overwritten with Caer?

      I’m all for having Welsh place names in Welsh (Cardiff should be replaced with Caerdydd for example) but an English place should always have the English name on them. Same reason we now call Kyiv the Ukrainian name instead of the anglicised version

      All this silly flag painting is just to create likes and clicks on social media. It wouldn’t surprise me if an external state actor was prompting it. It’s all really quite stupid
