Sweden’s coach, Jon Dahl Tomasson, spoke ahead of tomorrow’s match against Kosovo at “Fadil Vokrri”, highly praising the opponent.

“Kosovo is an excellent team, they love football and have clear ideas about the game. They like short passes and we have seen them in the Nations League showing good performances. However, we are focused on our objectives,” Tomasson declared.

The Danish strategist also spoke about the situation of striker Alexander Isak, hinting that he will not be at risk from the first minute.

“Before the match with Slovenia, he only had three training sessions, while now he has had five. In that match, if the score had been 1-1, he would have probably been activated. But now we need to look at the long-term aspect, not just the short-term one,” he stressed.

Kosovo and Sweden will face off tomorrow in the Kosovo capital, in an important match in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
