Americans. They will do anything to avoid using the metric system. They even created that game and for some reason called it *football*, just to get proper measurements for ISS /s

It’s pretty small. About 5600 square feet of habitable area. That’s not much space for living and work for 7 to 9 adults when you’re stuck there for 6-12 months.

Most of it solar panels and radiators. Shows how small the habitable space is too – fairly tiny.

For once, something is actually the size of a football field!!! It’s pretty satisfying for us Americans who get far too many area and length comparisons given in units of football fields.
To really understand this, I’m going to need to see it superimposed on a Canadian football field, too.
