It continues to rip through the world cursing people with long term health issues.
It never went away, we were just encouraged to forget about it so we can keep lining the pockets of the greedy few.
This is an obvious side effect of refusing to continue vaccination. The human cost of not planning ahead is bad enough, but even the most ghoulish of the debt obsessed must see by not paying for vaccinations, we pay ten times over for hospital care.
Don’t viruses always increase when the schools go back?
My 16 year old daughter tested positive today, first she’s had it since 2021 and she’s pretty unwell.
If we had kept under lockdown forever this never would have happened.
Yet if they made it compulsory for visitors to wear masks, people would complain.
Wouldn’t mind a lock down for 3 months. Few new games out. Have my own house and car .
Knocked me and my wife flat for a good week the other week. Really only just getting back to 100%. Meanwhile its ripping through my SIL’s school.

There is a reason the media put the % in the headlines and not the numbers. 31% sounds scary, but its 31% of a small number.
And wonderful. Just when I have to go to Hospital next week to get a Holter exam setup (and return it the following day).

I had this just recently – sore throat, felt sick, sweat absolutely dripping off me, then it went to my chest. Been a couple of weeks and I’m still not right.
So it’s a seasonal flu now like we were told it wouldn’t be?

Yeaaah, whole family got it, it’s been a fun two weeks. Fun birthday party for the little one though, she loved it.
Last Monday started to feel under the weather, woke up Tuesday feeling terrible. Started taking cold and flu tablets for 3 days and since nothing was changing took a covid test which immediately turned positive. This time felt very different to when I had it back then.
Fun times.
One of my parents is a recent organ transplant recipient and these “harmless” viruses genuinely terrify me. Please don’t forget basic hygiene.
This is going to keep simmering away for decades now, after most of the country took up half arsed “vaccines”. At least we’ve got an almost respectable block of refuseniks with proper natural immunity now who won’t be catching it ever again, to help dampen the R number for the perennially covid-prone. More’s the pity substantially more didn’t make that decision.

And yet the positivity rate is still less than half what it was in October last year, and by January it was 2%. Covid still exists, it goes up and down, an increase in positive cases in hospital from 5 to 7 percent isn’t anything to worry about. I despair for literacy and basic intelligence in this country.
I caught it twice last year and for some reason it totally fucked me up and I ended up hospitalised followed by a long recovery involving 2 months off work. Had many symptoms similar to a stroke. Back working now but still have lingering symptoms like tinnitus and chronic pain. It’s a very strange and unpredictable illness.
My advice is, if you do test positive or think you might have covid, rest as much as you can and don’t push through the fatigue.
