England put in their best performance of the Thomas Tuchel era to close out the September internationals as they defeated Serbia 5-0 in a fantastic night in Belgrade for the Three Lions.
Two goals in two minutes swiftly put England in a commanding lead as Harry Kane and Noni Madueke found the back of the net in quick succession.
Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi, and Marcus Rashford added to the scoreline in the second half to ensure that this would be a dominant display.

Jordan Pickford – 7
It was a very simple evening for Jordan Pickford who was not forced into a single save against Serbia. A very quiet night for Everton’s shot stopper.
Reece James – 7.5
It was a great outing for the Chelsea full-back who looked solid in the English backline that was rarely tested by Serbia. James got himself involved in the attacking phases of play often and looked dangerous when whipping crosses into the box.
Ezri Konsa – 8
Konsa looked extremely comfortable from start to finish in the English defence, having a very easy night against opponents that rarely tested him. The Aston Villa defender also managed to get his name on the scoresheet.
Marc Guehi – 8
The 25-year-old was superb against Serbia and like his partner in the centre of defence, got himself a goal. Dealt with all of his defensive duties and won 60% of all his duels.
Valentino Livramento – 7
It was a good night for the Newcastle defender who put in a strong shift in the English backline. Was rarely tested, but when he was, he dealt with everything very well
Elliot Anderson – 8
The midfielder impressed once again for the Three Lions and is certainly making a case for a place on the plane to the 2026 World Cup. Looked comfortable in midfield once again and it feels like he has been part of the team for a long time.
Declan Rice – 9
A fantastic performance from Declan Rice, who on another night would have had his name on the scoresheet. The midfielder rattled off seven shots three of which tested the keeper. But the night would not end without a goal involvement for Rice who grabbed two assists from wonderfully taken set-pieces.
Noni Madueke – 8.5
The winger has had a fantastic international break, once again looking like the most dangerous player in England colours. He got his first goal for England and deservedly so as Arsenal’s new signing could not be stopped down the right-wing. His best performance for England so far.
Morgan Rogers – 8
Rogers was a lively source of creation, assisting Madueke for his first England goal. The midfielder created the most chances of any player on the pitch (5) and also completed the most successful dribbles (3)>
Anthony Gordon – 7
Gordon put in a strong performance in Belgrade, showcasing his ability on the wing. The 24-year-old posed a constant threat, testing Petrovic on multiple occasions.
Harry Kane – 8
Kane added to his goal tally once more for England with a well-taken header. Made his presence known in the Serbian box and struck when it mattered. A classic performance from Harry Kane.

Was not too involved in proceedings but nevertheless, a great moment for Spence who made his England debut.
Marcus Rashford – 7.5
It was a good cameo from the winger who looked lively when he came on. He got his reward, converting a penalty to put his name on the scoresheet.
