The Port of Dubrovnik has once again been named the most visited port in Croatia for foreign cruise ships, despite strict city-imposed limits on the number of vessels allowed at one time.
“We respect the rule of no more than two large ships, and despite these limits we achieve excellent results,” said Port of Dubrovnik CEO, Željko Raguž. He added that the strong pace will continue, with September and October fully booked and ships scheduled through the end of the year.
The Port, working closely with the City and Port Authority, continues to promote sustainable cruise tourism while preserving life in the Old City. Raguž also noted that the Port remains proud of its stable workforce, employing mainly local staff and maintaining strong cooperation between management and employees.
