Two words come to mind at the cancellation of this series: Gob and Smacked. Prime Video, count your days!

Synopsis: An epic tale of true love, high adventure, regicidal maniacs, deadpan heroism, devious intrigues, swashbuckling sword-fights and oodles of yearning, banter and undeniable chemistry.

2.Spinning Out (Netflix):

This one truly stumped me because when it came out, EVERYONE was talking about it. Just for Netflix to snatch it away from us.

Synopsis: A figure skating Olympic hopeful struggles to balance love, family and fragile mental health as her dream of winning takes a dizzying hold.

3.Julie and The Phantoms (Netflix):

The songs? Bops. The cast? Hilarious. The romance? Intriguing. I would have watched 10 seasons of this show.

Synopsis: Julie lost her passion for music when she lost her mom. But when three ghostly guys appear and lift her spirits, they decide to start a band together!

4.Freaks & Geeks (NBC):

Truly ahead of it’s time — the masses weren’t ready for the now-cult phenom that is Freaks and Geeks.

Synopsis: “Freak” Lindsay Weir and her “geek” brother, Sam, try to survive high school in 1980s Michigan.

5.Hellcats (The CW):

Like, we NEVER get teen dramas where the kids are in college. It was Bring It On meets One Tree Hill, aka the perfect combo.

Synopsis: A tough indie rocker chick’s only chance at getting funding for law school is to win a scholarship by joining her university’s cheerleading squad.

6.Emily Owens M.D. (The CW):

The cancellation of Emily Owens M.D. and the cliff-hanger of both Will (Justin Hartley) and Micah (Michael Rady) professing their love for Emily (Mamie Gummer) is my Roman Empire.

Synopsis: In this medical drama series, klutzy intern Emily Owens discovers there’s not much difference between working in a hospital and life in high school.

7.Red Band Society (Fox):

The fact that the combined power Octavia Spencer and Dave Annabelle couldn’t keep this show on the air will forever confound me.

Synopsis: A coming-of-age dramedy about a group of rule-bending friends and the adults who mentor them through the ups and downs of adolescence in Los Angeles’ Ocean Park Hospital.

8.Jane By Design (ABC Family):

Jane by Design was essentially the more adult version of True Jackson VP, and that show got three seasons!

Synopsis: When she is mistaken for an adult and lands a job at a stylish fashion house, teenager Jane struggles to keep up with both her job and high school.

9.10 Things I Hate About You (ABC Family):

The CLIFFHANGER we were left with! Kat’s dad walking in on her and Patrick after they had sex for the first time. We were robbed of seeing their relationship play out on our screens.

Synopsis: Based on the hit movie, the comedy returns to Padua High, where newcomers Kat and Bianca Stratford attempt to navigate the popular crowd and the opposite sex while dealing with their overprotective dad.

10.The Acolyte (Disney+):

11.My So-Called Life (ABC):

The issues they tackled on this show…truly ahead of its time. Also, Jordan Catalano was instrumental in my sexual awakening.

Synopsis: MSCL follows Angela Chase, a neurotic, touching and funny 15-year-old as she chronicles the ever-present trials and tribulations of adolescence. No matter the fixation, Angela finds extraordinary drama within ordinary situations as she navigates discovering who she is and where she belongs.

12.Pitch (Fox):

As a woman who loves baseball, a show about the first ever female pitcher in the MLB was made for me…and apparently only me, since they proceeded to take it away.

Synopsis: The dramatic and emotional story of Ginny Baker, who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball – under the glare of a white-hot media spotlight.

13.High Fidelity (Hulu):

Truly, my favorite role of Zoë Kravitz’s.

Synopsis: A record store owner revisits past relationships through music and pop culture while trying to get over her one true love.

14.The Franchise (HBO Max):

I always wondered what it would be like to be on the set of a massive superhero mega-movie with more green screens than actors, and The Franchise gave us a peek into what that could be…before HBO Max took it away!

Synopsis: ​A hopeful crew finds themselves trapped inside the dysfunctional, nonsensical, joyous hellscape of franchise superhero movie making.

15.Firefly (Fox):

At least we got a movie…but still, we should have gotten multiple seasons.

Synopsis: Sci-fi western set 500 years in the future, in the aftermath of a universal civil war, that centers on the renegade crew of a small transport spaceship.

16.The Get Down (Netflix):

This was one of the coolest shows I ever saw, and Netflix had to go and take it away.

17.Crashing (Channel 4):

Before there was Fleabag, there was Crashing, and it was HILARIOUS. Still upset that we’re never going to find out what happened between Lulu and Anthony.

Synopsis: In exchange for low rent, a hodgepodge group of 20-something tenants set up residence as property guards in a disused hospital, where hilarity ensues.

18.Dr. Odyssey (Fox):

We were ROBBED of watching the throuple that was Max, Avery, and Tristan blossom over several seasons. RIP to what could have been.

Synopsis: Max is the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship where the staff works hard and plays harder. It’s all hands on deck as Max and his small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore.

19.The Residence (Netflix):

This was such a fun whodunit. I could watch Cordelia Cupp solve murders all day.

20.Grosse Pointe Garden Society (NBC)

This show gave major How To Get Away With Murder-vibes. Probably because Aja Naomi King was in both.

Synopsis: In a wealthy suburb where everything appears to be perfect on the surface, four members of a local garden club get entangled in a scandalous murder.

This show already had a Season 2 and Prime Video SNATCHED it away! I will never forgive them.
