Serbian President Vučić ‘ordered’ the Serbian Federation to move the match against Albania to Leskovac

After seeing 40 people brutally attacking him with insults in Belgrade, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, according to many reports from Serbian media, ‘ordered’ the venue for the match with Albania to be changed.
Opponents of the regime claim that Vučić personally forced the Football Federation to ask UEFA to change the location of the match, in order to have easier control over the crowd that will attend.
Instead of an audience of 40 at Marakana, he wants the national team to play in a stadium with only 8 fans.
The reason, according to claims by these media outlets, is to distribute the tickets to people close to the regime, who will not cheer against Vučić.
The President of Serbia has expressed his anger that the match with England was not held in this city.
“No one can explain to me why we didn’t play in Leskovac, except that the English asked for it,” Vučić said and continued:
“Even then I said it when it happened, but I emphasized: ‘Look, I don’t get involved, you’re stupid, you know better.’ And it turned out beautifully, because those who are smarter know better. It turned out beautifully…”
“Now they say, look, we were wrong, we want to play against Albania in Leskovac. And of course, it will be the best possible atmosphere.”
The Serbian President then added:
“Maybe we’ll lose, maybe we’ll win, but we’ll have the best possible atmosphere – if they allow us to have even one fan in the stands, because of the fans’ violations and I don’t know what else, they always find something. If everything is allowed, it will be a wonderful atmosphere in Leskovac. At least people will cheer for Serbia. With all their strength, with all their heart.”
Albania and Serbia have already played one match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, drawing XNUMX-XNUMX in Tirana in June of this year./Express newspaper/
