BEMIDJI — Sons of Norway will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Norwegian Mayflower with dinner and a program on Sunday, Sept. 28, at the Bemidji Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave. SE.

Starting at 4 p.m., attendees can sample appetizers and view an informative traveling museum display titled, “New Land, New Life: Norwegian Immigration to Minnesota, 1825-1925.”

A dinner of walleye, baked potato, green beans, coleslaw, a dinner roll and kransekake will be served at 5 p.m.

After the dinner, George Olson will present a program titled, “Restaurasjon Making History in 1825.”

Project: Constellation will provide music. The duo features guitarist Santiago Silva, who grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, and violinist Christina Silva.

Tickets cost $20 per person and must be purchased by Sept. 20 at Lueken’s Village Foods north and south locations.
