Bekzat Almaz uulu advances to quarterfinals of World Wrestling Championships in Croatia

AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyzstani wrestler Bekzat Almaz uulu has secured his second victory at the World Wrestling Championships in Croatia.

Competing in the freestyle wrestling tournament in the 57 kg weight category, Almaz uulu began in the 1/16 finals. He first defeated his Canadian opponent with a score of 11-0, then went on to beat Rin Sakamoto of Japan in the 1/8 finals.

Almaz uulu has now advanced to the quarterfinals, where he will face Vladimir Egorov from Macedonia.
