Hi everyone,

I’m Timothy, currently researching a new type of sports wearable in the form of a mouthguard. Unlike most devices (watches, chest straps), this one would not only track heart rate, pace, distance, and orientation, but also hydration, which is proven to have a positive impact on most sports activities like endurance, focus, and recovery.

👉 Here’s a short survey (3 minutes):

The results will be used only for research and validation of the concept.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks a lot for your time and feedback! 🙏

Sporters, I need your help!

    don`t know mate…

You do realize that in most sports we don`t need that, and it would be just annoying…

    Most sports are social sports.

eg: i do sports climbing, bouldering, lead climbing, and rock climbing, it is a social sport, even though it is an individual sport. all the team sports this can`t be used for.

Even sports that use mouthguards don`t use them during training. it`s just during games…

And you are measuring what hydration? The water lost by breath, or the water intake? But that is less than 10% of the total water lost. Most water is lost by sweat. even if you track the water intake, it means nothing…

soooo… i see this product as something a friend who knows fuck all about sports gets you as a gift, but you never actually use or need.

And even for the sports that need one because they are contact sports, i doubt you will gane too much traction because people will be scared it will just break apart and do some serious damage to their mouth.

I`m not being negative here; I`m raising serious problems with your concept.

so what is your idea? Do you want to sell a gimmick and scam or a real, useful product?
