Binter Canarias is the airline many travelers depend on for flights around the Canaries and beyond. This winter, for the 2025-26 season, the airline is about to make travel even easier. Binter will add more extra seats to its schedule, which is more than a jump of over 30 percent last winter. More seats mean more flights and better chances for everyone to visit the Canary Islands and other parts of Spain. The extra capacity will make it smoother to connect to popular destinations without the usual waiting around. Whether you’re going for a sunny holiday or a quick business trip, Binter’s expanded schedule is worth a look.

The highlight of Binter’s expansion is the introduction of a new route from Tenerife Norte to Badajoz, which will operate twice a week starting December 1, 2025. In addition to this new service, the carrier is increasing its frequencies to several other popular destinations, including Vigo, Valencia, and Asturias. Seasonal routes to cities such as Valladolid, San Sebastian, Granada, Pamplona, and Murcia will also see extended services throughout the winter season, offering more flexibility and convenience for travelers.

In an exciting move, Binter will also launch new 5X-weekly services from both Gran Canaria and Tenerife to Seville, starting from December 1. These routes will provide direct connections between the Canary Islands and the southern Spanish city, further enhancing Binter’s growing network.

Reasons Behind the Expansion

The decision to expand operations comes as Binter Canarias anticipates a surge in demand for both domestic and international travel during the winter season. With the introduction of new routes and expanded services to key Spanish cities, Binter aims to strengthen its position as a leading carrier connecting the Canary Islands with mainland Spain. The airline has also noted an increase in both leisure and business travel, which has contributed to the need for additional capacity on popular routes.

Moreover, the introduction of new services to Seville, as well as extended operations to other regional destinations, aligns with Binter’s goal to enhance connectivity between major Spanish cities and the Canary Islands, which are a popular tourist destination, especially in the colder months.

The decision to increase frequencies on routes to cities like Vigo, Valencia, and Asturias is part of the airline’s effort to tap into the growing demand for travel to these destinations, known for their rich cultural offerings, gastronomy, and natural beauty.
