Kosovo citizens are expected to face higher electricity bills this winter, following ERO’s decision to increase prices by 16 percent.
Ismet Krasniqi from the “Not a Cent More” initiative said that this price increase is unfair and the highest in the region.
“The ERO’s decision of 16 percent was too much. Kosovo has the highest electricity increase in the Balkans, compared to other countries. As you know, we have already filed a lawsuit with the Basic Court of Pristina, and we aim to suspend the decision,” said Krasniqi, reported Klankosova.tv.
He added that the effects of price increases are already being felt in other sectors of the economy.
“We are seeing the consequences of electricity, because with its increase we have an increase in food and basic products, in all products, let’s say,” he added. /KlanKosova
