The number of divorces in Kosovo is increasing significantly: 953 cases in just seven months

The number of couples ending their marriages in Kosovo is increasing significantly. In the period January-July 2025 alone, 953 divorce cases were registered, according to official data from the Statistics Agency of Kosovo (ASK).
The data shows that the highest number of divorces was recorded in July, with 177 cases, followed by February with 141 cases and April with 140 cases.
While in other months the figures are as follows: January 124 cases, February – 141, March – 123, April – 140, May -113, June – 135, July – 177.
Compared to June, when there were 135 cases, July saw 177 cases – a 31% increase in the number of divorces.
The municipality with the most divorce cases in July was Prizren, with 22 cases, ranking at the top of the list for this month. /Telegraph
