Former Dutch Ambassador: The Hague Court is Serving Serbia, Not Justice

Former Dutch ambassador to Kosovo, Robert Bosch, has spoken about the trial held in The Hague against former Kosovo president, Hashim Thaçi.
Bosch, who gave a speech at Sunday’s protest in The Hague in support of Thaçi, stressed that the establishment of this court was not perceived as a sincere attempt at justice.
“I have been involved since 2010, and during the war we did everything with the international community to bring peace, we had negotiations in Kosovo and when the elections were held in Serbia and we tried to choose the right path. We now know that Vučić is not our friend in Europe but of Russia and China,” Bosch said, on Euronews Albania.
According to him, Kosovo continues to bear the burden of responsibility for the agreement with Serbia, and stressed that many individuals responsible for the crimes of the ’90s today hold important positions in Serbia.
“Kosovo is always blamed here for the agreement with Serbia. This entire court was part of this agreement, we created it de facto for the Serbs. In a report that I don’t believe anyone has read, there is an important point regarding the crimes committed by Thaçi, it is written that all the crimes were committed by Serbs and no Serb is accused by this court. There are many guilty parties who hold good positions while they were the main criminals in the 90s. It is not an objective court, but it is a court to serve Serbia,” added the former Dutch ambassador to Kosovo, Robert Bosch.
