Seen some American posts about this that are absolutely furious. Explaining that the UK is culpable because of Prince Andrew and the US ambassador.

Both things can be correct but I think they are most upset about our ability to actually use dree speech like this. Which we should be proud of regardless of your L/R leaning or opinion of trump.
The fact that ‘the land of the free’ is upset about our ability to speak freely is very telling.
