  1. Not certain he grasps the impact on ordinary people.

    2025 – Dyson worth $13.3 billion

  2. > “Even if you’re poorer, worse off, it’s better to be making your own decisions than having supranational bodies making them for you. It’s that independence. I don’t want someone else telling me what to do.”

Not sure if it was possible for JD to be more of an arse, but he’s certainly doing his best.

  3. The words of a man who immediately moved his company to Singapore, and moved personally to Monaco mean fucking nothing.

  4. James ‘Brexit will be great for the UK, but I moved all my manufacturing to Malaysia in the 2000s and just moved my HQ to Singapore’ Dyson.

  5. Sir James Dyson says Brexit was worth it – even if it’s made *other* people poorer.

“I’m alright Jack” would have been fewer syllables.

  6. So nothing is better, everything is worse and everyone is poorer. But that is a price he is willing to pay so we can now make our own decisions.

If there are two rooms one with a million pounds and another with the choice between £1 and 50p. I would suggest the million pound room is better despite you not being able to make the decision.

  7. It was never about his company, thats a smoke screen that he will happily let people talk about singapore and distract with issues of labels and workers.

He wanted Brexit because of his farming empire, he’s the largest landowner in the UK outside of the Royal Family and he used Brexit’s devestating impact on the british farming community to expand his empire to him being the single largest farmer in the country.

his vacuum company can fail tomorrow and Dyson wont care, through Brexit he’s rapidly getting his claws around Britain’s stomach.

  8. This man is exactly why England is on its knees drowning as they have totally lost touch of what it’s like to be a normal human being living in England on a normal person’s pay.

the rich guy that farmed product development and manufacturing out to Asia with low wages and low quality plastics.

    innovation 10/10

    supporting british workforce 3/10

    credibility 0/10

Hasn’t made him poorer. He shut down all his UK manufacturing operations. What an obnoxious person. Not buying any of his products, ever.

I remember him ; British Jobs for British Workers

I have a lot of time for industrialists that support British workers but a big fat zero for those that change their mind to in event shaft British Workers

Quick little reminder that lesser known brands have matched and even outclassed Dyson in recent years, and at a fraction of the cost.

  13. CorrodedLollypop on

    Fuck James “bladeless fan” Dyson.

It’s got fucking blades you cunt. Just because they’re a different orientation and shape, doesn’t negate the fact that they’re still goddamn blades in your shitty overpriced fans.

He won some case against the EU some years ago about how to measure suction on vacuums. He still holds a grudge and cares little to look at the real impact of something he’s openly supported. He doesn’t pay tax here either. I’ll never buy a Dyson product or allow one in my home!

  15. As usual the billionaires who bribe, I mean donate to the politicians get paid richer and have more influence, and the rest of us are just fodder who buy their crap. I stopped buying anything from him after Brexit.

  16. Every day somebody has to deal with the cost of brexit and the trade that isn’t going on. It’s a continuing expense.

  17. This does not even make sense. He accepts that British people are worse off. A nation is nothing more than the sum of its citizens. Therefore the nation is actually worse off since Brexit.

Not met but interviewed a few that used to work for Dyson. Everyone said the same, he’s a very talented and driven man. Also, a complete dick, who’s rude, arrogant and prone to throwing a tantrum. I’m assuming the typical hallmarks of a bell end.

  19. So yes we all learn the lesson from this prick and don’t vote for the other prick who convinced us Brexit would make us better off… oh wait 🤔

  20. I’ve had a strong dislike for him ever since he sent U.K. manufacturing to Asia.

    Creepy little poundshop Palin.

Says the man selling exhorbitantly priced domestic appliances based on clever advertising.

  22. > “I moved the headquarters there for totally different reasons.””

Probably because of the deal they made with the EU immediately after 😂
