  1. UK ministers should not be able to make decisions that affect private businesses doing private business deals. If they want to control who does what then they should pass legislation that bans the things being done.

NIMBY lib dems being NIMBYs as per

  2. I personally think that climate change is far more of a threat than the ramblings of this moron.

I’d gladly have Tesla battery banks helping to power the UK – mass storage is a major barrier at present to us relying wholly on renewables and if Tesla are capable of doing it, I don’t see the problem.

Musk is just the man who happens to be CEO, I don’t think the fact he’s a moronic right-wing grifter should detract from the great work Tesla scientists and engineers have done and are continuing to do.

EDIT – and right on cue, this has presumably been linked to in some Elon Musk sub and his fanboys are here downvoting!

  3. I would agree. I was initially pro more competition etc.. but this guy is off the rails. F him and his businesses

  4. trusting a neo nazi who hates the UK to actually supply us with power seems like such a great idea 🥱

he could just stop providing it one day to cause chaos smh

This would be an act of self-harm. Like him or not, he can do things no one else can, we need investments from people like this.

  6. I can pretty much guarantee that this Labour government will take some weak, half-hearted measure towards this that ultimately does very little other than embolden the blob-faced wretch that is Elon.

Starmer’s leadership style is guy 4.55pm on a Friday waiting to leg it out the door, rather than putting in the overtime.

  7. I mean UK ministers were also told by him they shouldn’t be in office. listen to him and reject his ability to do business in this country, he doesn’t like the government we elected.
