According to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), General Ghanbari made these remarks on Saturday during a ceremony honoring the organizers of vocational training for conscripted personnel in Kermanshah Province, held at the Martyr Jafari Hall of the IRGC.
Commemorating the beginning of Sacred Defense Week, he said: “These days remind us of the sacrifice and struggle of the Iranian people. The Sacred Defense proved that the Iranian nation does not bow to any threat.”
The Deputy Commander emphasized: “The same resilient nation that stood firm during the war is now standing by the system and will not allow foreigners to dominate the country.”
He continued: “In the recent 12-day war, once again the Zionist enemy’s calculations proved wrong. They sought to create chaos and weaken national unity, but the result was greater cohesion and solidarity among the people.”
General Ghanbari stated: “During the imposed 12-day war with the Zionist regime, Kermanshah Province offered 66 martyrs for the security of this land. These young specialists demonstrated through their sacrifice that defending the revolution and the homeland is their highest priority.”
In another part of his speech, he reiterated: “In the 12-day war, the Zionist regime’s Iron Dome collapsed before the will of Iranian youth. Some of the missiles launched from Kermanshah struck their targets and successfully penetrated American defense systems.”
