  2. Look for the Sky Map app. It’s free and excellent. You point your point up and it identifies everything.

  3. Orion might be one of the most recognizable and interesting major constellations in the northern hemisphere’s fall and winter sky. Look south. It’s hard to miss. Also, the Seven Sisters (Pleiades), which is easy to spot once you know it, is Subaru’s logo.

    If you follow the curving angle of the big dipper’s handle, it will point you to the very bright star, Arcturus.
