The Secretary General of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, held a press conference today, where she spoke about the course of the election campaign and the great civic support that the PDK is receiving throughout the country.

In her speech, Çitaku emphasized that on the 8th day of the campaign, mayoral candidates and municipal assembly teams have held over 1 meetings in every village, neighborhood and city of Kosovo, where the PDK’s political offer has been welcomed with joy, enthusiasm and trust by citizens.

“Because this is the best political offer in the country, already proven as the most successful model of local government. Our vision is clear: better – a municipality that functions, a municipality that serves, a municipality that is accountable to the citizen. This is our difference,” she said.

The PDK secretary expressed her conviction that the party will not only win in the municipalities where it currently governs, but also in many others, proving the superiority of its candidates compared to the opposing candidates.

“We are not seeking trust only for PDK as a party, but for our citizens. To build together municipalities that are not the property of individuals, but a common home for every citizen,” said Çitaku.

She thanked citizens for the high democratic culture they are showing during the campaign, for their massive participation in meetings, and for their contribution with ideas and criticism, emphasizing that these make PDK even stronger.

Çitaku dedicated special gratitude to PDK activists – women and men, young and old – who are keeping the spirit of the campaign alive with dedication and energy.

“This is the true face of the Democratic Party of Kosovo: political culture, respect for the citizen and unwavering belief that only through work and unity can we build a better future for our municipalities and for Kosovo. PDK will win. Our citizens will win. And Kosovo will win!”, concluded Vlora Çitaku.
