    – All age groups and income brackets and both parties agree that the priority of Congress should be to protect children, over working to keep states from regulating A.I. companies. 

    – 90% of Americans agree that families should be granted the right to sue an A.I. company, “if its products contributed to harms such as suicide, sexual exploitation, psychosis, or addiction in their child.”

    These numbers still indicate extraordinary bipartisan support for such a measure.”

    Only 2000 people were asked, it doesn’t seem to mention how they found thier participants or the method of polling beyond the questions used.

  3. Americans don’t want AI safeguards by a 9:1 ratio. Americans don’t want AI. It’s being forced on us

  4. Difficult to define “safeguarding” with a nascent technology in a state of exponential evolution.

  5. I get the concern over protecting children. But that’s only one of many reasons to be concerned over AI. It holds tremendous promise, yes, but can we slow things down? This tech is way too disruptive, and not necessarily in a good way.
