The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, thanked her compatriots in Staten Island and the Albanian associations “Ulqin”, “Dibra” and all other associations for the warm welcome during her visit.
She stated that the history of Kosovo is a history of sacrifice and joint efforts, where the Albanian diaspora in America has played a special role.
“Our diaspora has written a bright chapter, always side by side with our people, proving that distance never extinguishes love for the homeland,” Osmani declared.
