I received this as a gift from friends and want to cook them something with it. The stock fish prep and recipes I see online are for larger pieces, this is quite thin. I assume this would not need soaking as long? Then would it be good in a seafood stew or maybe Norwegian style fishcakes (love those)?? Thanks in advance!

Those are not meant for cooking, but for snacking on as is.
Best eaten with butter. Real butter.
Sorry that your friends hate you.
its snacks
Bacalao, or dogsnacks.
The word «snacks» on the packaging is a clue. You don’t cook it.
You eat preferably with a light beer.
You can beat it first so it becomes easier to work with and you can have it with butter.
If you use it for cooking then we will haunt you in your dreams 😀
This is a great snack, shred of a piece and go to town!

It’s a snack, but open it outside and never eat it before going out lol.
Dip it in sriracha sauce while having a beer on the side.
Not food…snack
Cook? Rip a small bit off, put butter on it, and enjoy as a snack.
