  1. Excellent news. Hopefully more prosecutions will now happen, and the government can recoup the money paid out fraudulently.

    > The gowns, manufactured in China, were labelled with a CE mark, denoting compliance with European standards, but no authorised quality assurance organisation had certified their safety and sterility.

Wow straight up fraud. Are any of those responsible getting locked up?

So a lot of the money is now in a trust? Let me guess…the government or anyone else will be unable to access all the millions that are sat in there?

Fuck these absolute leeches. They should face a prison sentence. Otherwise what is stopping other people doing the same?

  4. Cool now strip her of her titles and slap them both with criminal charges. They knew full well what they were doing.

If we want to be nice, offer a lesser sentence if they’re willing to collaborate and provide evidence on other Tory party members who were involved in ripping this country off in the middle of an existential crisis.

  5. Chances of seeing any money? Zero. Chances of any enforcement? Zero. Unless we send the SBS to seize her yacht.

  6. Is that the same Michelle Mone who, less than two days ago were saying she was being scapegoated by the government? (Proceedings btw started under the Tories).

The same one that lied about her involvement in the deal, lied about her involvement with the company, that then proceeded to supply equipment unfit for purpose, with a certification mark that wasn’t applied with any checks? Kinda fraudulent, no?

That’s not a scapegoat. That’s an example, and hopefully just the beginning

  7. Everyone’s bitching on about some made up vaccine bullshit, the real crimes are right here

  8. It’s amazing that the Government spent billions on dodgy PPE and test and trace mainly given to friends and acquaintances rather than you know people with actual experience and knowledge in those subject areas.

That’s not to mention those friends and acquaintances first instinct during a global pandemic was to look to milk as much money out of the system as possible.

How quickly people seem to have forgotten this. Quite why charges haven’t been pressed is a mystery. These decisions cost lives.

  9. Now can we get back all the fraudulent money not only from them but every other Tory crony who stole it.

I’ve said it before, steal a hundred quid, jail

    Steal a hundred million, peerage

It’s as though theft on this magnitude is okay, it’s just rich people doing rich shit.

No wonder the country is broke.

But sure don’t have a wealth tax, the wealthy need more money.

  10. People died, a mental heath crises incubated and futures were sacrificed but these guys saw this and used it as an opportunity to steal.

Yet the focus is on Abdul on Universal Credit.

    Good

    But top of the iceberg

The concept and exploitation of the priority lane for personal gain of the associates of govt officials should have been an even bigger scandal

Absolutely disgusting and I hope there are more cases like this to come

What I suspect though is mone will be the public scapegoat to show govt did ‘something’ but lots will get away with their sins

  12. Imagine if you stole £122 from a business or individual and what would happen to you. But £122 million…well…

  13. Naive-Might-9218 on

Crazy how much pandemic cash went to people with zero experience in healthcare supply

  14. Might have to sell a yacht or two to pay that back then. I can see a memoir coming out from her in the future where she talks about how she is the victim.

How is willingly and knowingly defrauding the nation during a pandemic not an incredibly serious criminal offence? As in, spend-the-rest-of-their-lives-in-prison-serious

  16. About fxxxing time.

If there is a traceable route back to her, say a husband for example, strip her of her title and remove her from the House of Lords.

    Set an example.

Also need to investigate who and how much she paid in brib….donations to get a peerage.

Congrats to Reeves. She made big deal during election to come after her and glad they won back some tax payers money

  19. She ended her statement a few minutes ago with, “To use a simple analogy, if a car looks, feels, and drives like, say, a Range Rover, then unless you can show how the car is assembled by the manufacturer, it’s not a Range Rover!”

Of all the examples she could have used, she still selects one associated with wealth and where their workers have been suffering due to the cyberattack. Clueless to her own privilege. Her PR advisors need to go to Specsavers because the optics are terrible.
