Ok hopefully this is allowed because it’s an actual test being done in space.
This is the second test of the QI thruster device being done by IVO. The first test failed because the satellite failed and the test was ever done/started

This second one has data in the link, from Richard Mansells (CEO of IVO) Twitter/X the test started around late July/August it needed some intial flight data early on, calibration etc…no info is given on when the device was actually “turned on” but from the perigree data it shows a thrust event in mid September.
I can’t see how this isn’t evidence/proof the device works.
I asked chatgpt to see how much thrust was put out and it was near as advertised by the makers.

Personally I’m almost shaking because I’ve been following QI for years now and we may have some solid proof that there is some truth to the theory for everyone to see.

I guess I want to share and see what you all think of the data and implications.

The QI theory is much more then an emdrive like device, and while this capacitor device is similar to emdrive on the face of it, it’s actually pretty different in setup.

For more context this was done privately by IVO, they tested the device at their facility and saw enough to pay millions to test in space, personally I don’t think they would have done that if they didn’t see “something” in the lab.

This may not be allowed but again its data from an ongoing test in space about a device that if proven true/functional has huge implications for satellites in the immediate future and so much more for near/far future.

I may add more to this as I get feedback from comments.

I ask that we keep the comments to this device and QI as a theory (not the person who came up with the theory nor the CEO of IVO) because some see it as pseudoscience and the author of theory has some controversy and I’ve seen odd comments about the CEO as well. Just keep it to the science and the possibilities folks. And if it’s not allowed for me to request that, then so be it.

Thanks and looking forward to the discussion.

Please look into it if needed, but bottom line you have a device that produces thrust with no propellant and achieves thrust, roughly in line with what an ion engine can get you

The data appear to show the satellite having a thrust event. Let’s discuss the implications if this device works and possible other causes for the data seen.
I’m extremely anxious because QI is a years old theory I’ve been following that’s been called pseudoscience but how would this device work if that was the case?

Massive implications for near term space applications, ever grander for the future for what the QI theory gets into.

  2. The fact that your first reaction was to ask ChatGPT indicates that you have no idea what ChatGPT is or how it works.

There exists some text on the Internet from QI believers stating that the device produces a given amount of thrust, ergo there is a nonzero chance ChatGPT will return a string of text stating that it does. This says nothing (positive or negative) about the reality of the device or the experiment.

The closer to the unknown your question is, the more inaccurate a LLM will be, because an LLM works off of patterns of text. If something did not happen, or its occurrence was only spoken about rarely, there can be no wealth of extant text in the training data which would bias the model toward the right answer.

  3. I’d love for this to work, which might also explain dark matter. Unfortunately nothing in the data yet seen shows any significant acceleration beyond what one would expect for this orbit.
