September was coming to an end, and rail workers had not yet been paid their August salaries. Trains of operator ŽRS in Bosnia and Herzegovina stopped after the rail union called a strike to demand payment before continuing. The trains in Republika Srpska stopped exactly at midnight on October 1st.
