A career is shaped by the choices we make, the values we uphold, and the courage to move forward even when the outcome is uncertain. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that every decision, no matter how small, has the potential to leave a lasting impact. That’s why I approach each step with care, responsibility, and perspective. My guiding principle is simple: do what’s right now and you can never truly do wrong.
Joining RetuRO has been a defining moment in my journey. It wasn’t just a professional transition; it was a purposeful step into a mission I deeply believe in. Today, I feel proud knowing we’ve created not only a functional system, but a movement. We’ve drawn a path toward sustainability, and now we’re walking it alongside millions of Romanians, each one part of this story of change.
I believe that personal and professional life go hand in hand. Being a survivor of an aggressive form of cancer changed everything for me. It made me see life differently: not as a list of achievements, but as a series of meaningful steps. When you survive something so intense, every small victory becomes monumental. And, more importantly, you begin to trust yourself in more profound ways.
That trust gave me the courage to embrace bold transitions: leaving behind over two decades in the corporate world, stepping into a new industry, and taking on a national leadership role. RetuRO was a leap into the unknown, but one anchored in purpose.
What drives me today goes far beyond business. It’s about shifting mentalities, inspiring shared responsibility, and contributing to a cleaner, greener Romania. It’s creating a system that motivates people from every region to see that small actions can lead to real environmental change.
In my view, leadership is about people. It means building and growing a professional team that shares a vision and empowering each person to take ownership of that shared purpose. At RetuRO, I’ve worked towards fostering a culture where openness, trust, and motivation are foundational.
Our success is measured in what we give back to the environment, communities, future generations. Success is when millions of people are inspired to join a cause because they believe in it. That’s the kind of impact I strive for.
Women in leadership today have more space than ever to make their voices heard, but we must still be bold enough to step into that space with confidence. Believing in your own abilities, trusting your experience, and owning your seat at the table is where it begins. Once you believe you deserve to be in the room, your ability to lead, influence, and innovate grows exponentially.
Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to helping other women develop that same confidence. Empowering others is essential, especially in sustainability—a field that relies so heavily on collaboration, empathy, and long-term thinking. Authentic leadership is about creating the conditions for others to succeed, thrive, and multiply the impact we can make together.
