For me it depends on the kind of shoes. My guests can keep there shoes on of they are not comming directly from the woods. If I am on my own my own I wear my house sneakers or socks.

I believe, there’s a generational shift. Like every boomer in my family keeps their shoes on, whereas our millennial generation doesn’t.
