Besnik Osmani: Women’s voices must be heard and have an impact on the development of Fushë-Kosovo that we want

The LDK candidate for mayor of Fushë-Kosovo, Besnik Osmani, held a warm and fruitful meeting today with the women of one of the city’s neighborhoods, where they openly discussed the challenges and needs that directly affect the women of the community — from employment and economic support, to their inclusion in decision-making.

Osmani said that in his governing program, gender equality and the economic empowerment of women occupy an important place:

“In our program we have a clear goal: equal rights, more opportunities and concrete support for women. The voice of women must be heard and have an impact on the development of the Kosovo Plain that we want,” he emphasized.

According to Osmani, through concrete policies for employment, professional training, and active inclusion in public life, Fushë-Kosova can become a more inclusive and fairer municipality for all its citizens.
