The founder of the “Octopus” Institute, Agim Musliu, has accused Serbia of becoming a Russian operational center for the destabilization of Europe and the Balkans.
In a reaction on Facebook, Musliu stressed that Russia is using Serbian territory to train paramilitary groups aimed at undermining European democracies, with the direct support of Serbian state institutions.
“Serbia has become a territory where Russia, with the infrastructure provided by Belgrade, freely trains paramilitary groups to destabilize European democracies. Could this happen without the approval of Serbian institutions? Of course not,” Musliu wrote.
He added that Belgrade knowingly allows and supports these activities, as Serbia itself is acting in a similar manner in the region, through the formation and arming of armed groups, such as the one led by Milan Radoićić.
“Serbia is Russia’s strategic partner in the most dangerous projects of destabilizing Europe and our region, transforming itself into the main link of Russian influence in the Balkans,” concludes Musliu.
