Hey all, flying from Oslo Torp to Alesund via Bergen with Wideroe. Booked tickets altogether, but it’s saying I have to collect and re-check hold luggage during the transfer.
Is this true? I’ve never had to do this on a connecting flight, and I’m a bit stressed about the time I have to do it in.

Yes that would be the case, but just ask the staff at the airport. They will know for sure, and can explain what you need to do.
Yes, per the government website, only oslo airport will transfer baggage automatically
Yes, do it. Two months ago my sister was flying from Europe to Alesund via Bergen and her luggage didn’t come, they flew it to Oslo and only next day evening it came to Alesund 😂

In 2024, I flew from Amsterdam to Bodø via Bergen.
In Bergen, I had to collect my checked baggage from the carousel and then check it in again, even though I had been assured in Amsterdam that it would be transported to my final destination.
However, when connecting from abroad, you walk past the carousel. Check-in in Bergen was quick and easy.
