Adis Beciragic, the current coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team, has resigned from this position and is no longer their coach.
Beciragic resigned as coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team after the historic result at Eurobasket.
He arrived on the bench of the Bosnian national team in the summer of 2022, and replaced Vedran Bosnic on the bench of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The 55-year-old led BiH to two EuroBaskets, and in the last one achieved a historic result and passed the group, but lost to Poland in the round of 16 of the European Championship.
In the end, we finished EuroBasket in 13th position, which is the second best result in the history of our Bosnian team.
The basketball federation will have to react quickly and find his successor, as World Cup qualifiers are about to begin.
Now after resigning, Beciragic will dedicate himself to working at his club Trepça from Kosovo. /Telegraph/
