Here’s what to know about the event that will feature 10 of the region’s top leaders.
‘Mayors of Delmarva’ panel coming to Berlin
The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce presents “The Mayors of Delmarva”, a special panel discussion and luncheon featuring the chief executive officers from 10 cities and towns across Maryland and Virginia’s Eastern Shore and Delaware.
Scheduled to attend are Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan, Salisbury Mayor Randy Taylor, Cambridge Mayor Lajan Cephas and Crisfield Mayor Darlene Taylor from Maryland; Cape Charles Mayor Adam Charney and Chincoteague Mayor Denise Bowden from Virginia; and Middletown Mayor Kenneth L. Branner, Jr., Lewes Mayor Amy Marasco and Dover Mayor Robin Christiansen.
The mayors will discuss how their jurisdictions have grappled with budget issues and inflation, higher labor costs, crime, how the 2025 tourism season fared and what initiatives and projects are planned for their respective jurisdictions in 2025 and beyond.
